BLANCO, founded in1925 by Heinrich Blanc in Oberderdingen, Baden-Wuerttemberg Germany, is a company with a history spanning over 75 years and a tradition of manufacturing high quality products.

Production of copper galvanized parts for cookers and copper hot water bottles | |
The Forties |
Production of milk churns, butchers tools, boilers and components for catering appliances. In 1978, branch factory established in Sulzfeld. Staff totaled 300 at the end of the decade. | |
The Fifties |
Stainless
steel production starts.
Production of utensils for the industrial catering industry, propane gas cylinders, freight-car coverings, cladding panels, containers for food distribution, stainless steel sinks. Sink production reaches 100 000 units in 1959. |

The Sixties |
Expansion of the product range to include medical baths, cabinet
systems, instrument trolleys, laboratory fittings, light and flag
poles, kitchen and table ware.
First subsidiary founded in Holland. The number of employees reaches 1720. |

Concentration on three product groups:
Domestic Technology Additional subsidiaries established in Austria and Switzerland. |

Domestic Technology: Catering Equipment: Medical Engineering: Coloured sink production begins in 1986 with the launch of SILACRON® made from quartz. In 1989, the first SILGRANIT® sink is produced. |

The Nineties |
Founding of BLANCO MED GmbH with its own high tech factory for
operating tables and accessories. In 1994, the Sinsheim plant is ISO9002 certified.
In 1995, a factory is purchased in Toronto, Canada for the production of coloured sinks to better serve North American markets. BLANCO receives various design innovation awards. Approximately 20 million German marks invested to upgrade Sulzfeld plant to a state of the art production site. |

Additional multi-million dollar investments made
in Germany and Canada to accommodate North American demand for
